UncleSparky Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 I am trying to decide between two hotels on HH Island using Hotwire.Dates: 7/12/2010 - 7/15/20101 room 2 AdultsOption #1: 4* offered at $115 per nightAmenities:ResortNear beachFitness CenterPoolRestaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh Speed InternetGolf nearbyTennis nearbyChildren's Activity ProgramMy guess is Crowne Plaza??Option #2: 2.5* offered at $99 per nightAmenities:Near beachComplimentary BreakfastPool(s)Laundry FacilitiesHigh Speed InternetGolf nearbyTennis nearbyI am wondering if this is the Holiday Inn Oceanfront? If so the 2.5 stars rating does not scare me as I have stayed there before.Thanks so much for your help. I did use the BetterBidding link to HOTWIRE to do my initial research.
thereuare Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!The 4* matches previous reports for the Crowne Plaza so that would be my best guess for that one.The 2.5* has not yet been identified, but i don't think it's the Holiday Inn Oceanfront... that property does not offer a Complimentary Breakfast nor is it consistent with the Tripadvisor information HOTWIRE is showing for the property offered. If i were to take a guess, i think the Comfort Inn South Forest Beach would be a good candidate, but the 2.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating would be enough to keep me away.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Dates: 7/12 - 7/15Rate: $109 per night. This improved a bit after adding 2 kids to the request (original was 2 adults).Thanks so much for your help on this great forum. I will be back.
