Hotwire Hotel: 4* Savannah (Hilton Head Island) Crowne Plaza Resort Hilton Head

I am trying to decide between two hotels on HH Island using Hotwire.

Dates: 7/12/2010 - 7/15/2010

1 room 2 Adults

Option #1: 4* offered at $115 per night

Amenities:

Resort

Near beach

Fitness Center

Pool

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Laundry Facilities

High Speed Internet

Golf nearby

Tennis nearby

Children's Activity Program

My guess is Crowne Plaza??

Option #2: 2.5* offered at $99 per night

Amenities:

Near beach

Complimentary Breakfast

Pool(s)

Laundry Facilities

High Speed Internet

Golf nearby

Tennis nearby

I am wondering if this is the Holiday Inn Oceanfront? If so the 2.5 stars rating does not scare me as I have stayed there before.

The 4* matches previous reports for the Crowne Plaza so that would be my best guess for that one.

The 2.5* has not yet been identified, but i don't think it's the Holiday Inn Oceanfront... that property does not offer a Complimentary Breakfast nor is it consistent with the Tripadvisor information HOTWIRE is showing for the property offered. If i were to take a guess, i think the Comfort Inn South Forest Beach would be a good candidate, but the 2.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating would be enough to keep me away.

So I booked option #1 today which turned out to be the predicted hotel - Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort. Dates: 7/12 - 7/15

Rate: $109 per night. This improved a bit after adding 2 kids to the request (original was 2 adults).
