myotherac
Used the board's PRICELINE link and did some background research as to usual rate for these areas.Tried a combination of these two areas, and used Laguna Beach as a free re-bid area.Unsuccessful from $53 up to $75.Probably should give up at this stage and book through the hotel websites direct (Doubletree ~$95 per night, Red Lion ~$110 per night) unless some one has any suggestions.myotheracSydney, Australia Link to comment

myotherac
Right during the All Star game. probably why you are having such a tough time. Thanks for that. I figured that there might be something big going on like a convention.I have booked a fully refundable room at the Red Lion for $110 per night for the moment. Double tree on S. Harbor is $95 per night but not refundable.Thought about bidding for the first few days through PRICELINE and booking the last couple through the hotels direct but the hotels don't allow this. Need to book the entire block.Might re-check things with PRICELINE closer to the day.Regardsmyotherac Link to comment
