Hotwire Hotel: New York 10/20-10/23

Hello,

I'm looking for 9 rooms in New York city. The area is not so important as long as it is south of Central Park.

3 stars would be nice... but I can only spend $200 per room all included.

When is best time to buy? Am I to early if I'm looking for hotels now?

How should I proceed, I guess it is best to use PRICELINE?

In terms of HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, PRICELINE does allow one to bid on nine rooms, while HOTWIRE allows a max of 6 in one transaction.

NYC in the Fall can be quite busy and expensive, and I'd recommend starting the process of looking at options and bidding now instead of waiting.

Would you need more than one bed per room, or would one bed per room be okay?

In addition to the questions asked above... do all rooms have to be at the same hotel OR could you make two separate purchases and split the group between two different properties?

I would prefer to have the bookings at the same hotel, but I could accept spliting the bookings in two if needed. One bed per room is fine.

$200 all-in is probably going to be tough for this stay, but we can give it a try.

To confirm, Downtown is an acceptable zone? (in addition to CPS, Chelsea, ESB, HK, MSG, MTE, MTW, and TS)
