joshuatree Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Can someone please tell me when to start to bid a 4* hotel near LAX? We need one night next Thursday on 6/17/2010. Our party consists two adults and two kids (9 & 11). Would it be better to bid now or early next week? Priceline or Hotwire? Also, does anyone know street or garage parking price near Hollywood area? We plan to visit there on the 18th.Thank you SO MUCH!
yellowdog Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 You can start bidding now if you want to go the PRICELINE route. But you should know that PRICELINE only guarantee a room for two adults. That could mean one bed. Is this a risk you're willing to take? With HOTWIRE can you search up to 4 guests. Please read this link: Should i Bid Early or Close to Arrival Date Sorry but i can't help you with parking in Hollywood.Let us know how we can help you further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
joshuatree Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 Thank you for the reply. I was able to use your PRICELINE link just now, and got a 3.5* Radisson Hotel LAX at $51 ($65.63 w/tax & fees). First tried 4" at $51 without sucess. I will post my bid in a separate topic.
joshuatree Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Posted June 9, 2010 First tried 4* at $51 without take, revised to 3.5* with Radisson Hotel as the winning bid. One night only. Read a couple of hotel reviews, will keep my finger crossed. No high expections, so hopefully it should be OK.
