Hotwire Hotel: chicago with kids

We are going to Chicago with our 3 boys from 7/7-7/10. We need 2 queen beds. When bidding can we ask for 2 queen beds? Also, I've never been to Chicago. What area is good to stay if we are going to museums, etc?

You can't specify bed type/room configuration when bidding on PRICELINE... all that is guaranteed is double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. HOTWIRE allows you to search for up to quad occupancy, ensuring sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search. This usually means 2 beds, but it could be one bed plus a sofabed, rollaway, etc.

Either way there will be a bit of risk involved since you'll be more occupancy than your reservation, but HOTWIRE would be less risky since if you search for quad occupancy you'll only be one person over rather than three.

If you search HOTWIRE, for 2adults/2children does anything in the downtown zones (Mag Mile-Streeterville, NMA-Water Tower-Golf Coast, or Loop) appear within your desired star rating and budget?

Hi. I would like to stay in the Embassy Suites in Chicago. Either location is fine. I am traveling with my hubby and 3 kids so I need a suite. How do I go about bidding with that in mind?

There is no way to bid for a particular property on PRICELINE (additionally, the service only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed). You can try to spot a particular property on HOTWIRE, but only one property will show up in each zone and at each star rating, and there may be a different property than the ES showing for these dates.
