Priceline Hotel: Help needed for a 4*-5* Hotel in Lisbon

Hi,

this is the first time I would like to book on Priceline :) .

After reading your really good PL-guide I understand the basics of the bidding system there. But there is a little uncertainty left, that's why I ask for help.

We (2) would like to travel to Lisbon from the 20th of June to the 26th. We are looking at a 4* or 5* Hotel in the heart of the city, breakfast included, one double room.

If I bid on PL do I automatically bid on a double room and is the price for one night and TWO persons? Or will I have to pay double the price because of the second guest?

Has someone recently booked a hotel in Lisbon in the category mentioned above and can tell which hotel it was finally?

Which price do you think is good at the moment?

Your bid price is for a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundary of the zone(s) you select and is for one room/double occupancy... there should be no additional charge for two guests.

However, note that breakfast is not necessarily included. Typically you're entitled to all the standard features/amenities of other guests... so if the hotel includes breakfast in the standard room rate (ie- it's not a special promotion or non-standard rate) then you should be entitled to breakfast as well, but i suspect most hotels at the 4*-5* level in this area do not typically include breakfast in their standard room rate.

If you enter Lisbon in the QUICK SEARCH box in the blue banner at the top of the board you can see all reported wins fo this area... as well as look in the Priceline Hotel Lists for all hotels reported to the board.

For more help with this stay let us know if you're willing to pay more for a 5* vs. a 4* OR if your goal is the least expensive 4* or better for this stay... as well as your maximum bid.
