When would be the best time to try and book a room for those dates (6/20-6/25)? Do you think prices will go down as the dates approach?

However, $35 for a hotel room doesn't leave a whole lot of room for prices to drop... how much cheaper do you think rates would go??

It's not so much the price dropping as the star level going up for the same price. :) I saw that someone got the 3* Regal resort for this coming week for $36. I'd love to get a deal like that.

I've never used HOTWIRE before. I've used PRICELINE a number of times with pretty good success. However, since I'm staying for 5 days I especially want to ensure a non-smoking room and that's not always possible with PRICELINE.

You should know that Regal Sun charges $15/night resort fee. And you will likely get the rooms in the old wing. The rooms are better at the Vista compared to the RS wing rooms. But the pool area is very nice at the RS.
