thereuare
Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board. If i were to take a guess, i think the Holiday Inn Historic District or the Best Western King Charles Inn woudl be among the likely candidates. Regardless, this property does offer a very nice 4.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, so there is some comfort in that. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. restless_gal
We decided to try PRICELINE but are probably going to end up booking direct as the PRICELINE prices are not too hot and we want to be assured non-smoking room. Link to comment
restless_gal
Over the course of a few days we tried bidding on Priceline for Downtown/Historic Charleston. Checked the rates for those days and a 3* averaged $200/nite so I started bidding at $100 (at 4* down to 2* with no luck) . Ended up bidding $150. 4*, 3.5*- Rejected. However when I got to the 3* it said something like "processing" or something different than all the other times but apparently I didn't have enough available on my credit card (whoops) so it said to use another card (or call credit company to square things) and "Try Again Right Now". I suppose this means that it would have taken it. At this point this didn't appear such a great deal anymore and combined with the concern about being saddled with a smoking room (a major drawback for us), we are going to pursue booking directly.
