Priceline Hotel: NYC 6/13-6/16 (3 adults + 2 children)

I need help finding an affordable hotel for the 5 of us to stay during that week. I want to stay in the lower $100's if possible and somewhere near a subway. Can I used priceline or do I have to use hotwire because there are 5 of us? Help please! :)

Please let us know what areas you would like to stay in and a more specific budget and we would be happy to offer suggestions. Additionally, NYC is infamous for very small rooms - PRICELINE does not guarantee 2 beds, and Hotwire offers a max of 4 per room. I would guess city code for occupancy in many hotels in NYC may be 2-3 in some properties as well. Selecting 4 in the room via HOTWIRE for a party of 5 is certainly a risk - the best option for 5 in NYC would be two rooms. Prices are on the high side for these dates and winning a room for the low $100's in Midtown NYC is likely going to be difficult.
