JayCronk Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 I have been bidding for a few months on a car rental in Denver Colorado, going from about $10 up to $30 from July 14-16, 3 days in total. Each time, I get offered prices in the $60 range so I am just assuming that I am underbidding since it is an airport rental which is always more expensive. I am trying to keep my total cost under $150 because, realistically, I can get a shuttle to a local rental place and the total would be around this price for both the shuttle and the car.I went to PRICELINE today and it showed a list of winning bids from DEN and all of them were around $10. Is this normal for such a drastic price difference? I know I am going in the summer, but it is Wed-Fri and a $50 difference is quite a bit. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have seen ideas about bidding on the weekends, which I have not done. Does this work? Any help would be great.Thank you,JayCronk
