I want to stay in Marietta at the Hyatt Suites on Sat - 2/26. Can anyone give me a great bid strategy? i.e. - Star Rating for the hotel * Recommend starting bid amount

In times past I have bid for this hotel, but was rejected each time. I appreciate your help in advance.

You can't bid for a specific hotel, only a minimum star level within the shaded region that priceline calls the 'marietta' zone... are you able to accept any hotel within that that area?

If you've never used an opaque service before you may want to give this thread a read:

I know that I can not "specify" a hotel. Looking at other post seems like 3 star and Marietta would more than likely give me the Hyatt. I can expand to other areas, I would prefer a limited area of Marietta/Perimeter.

I don't know how 'desperate' you are, but tough to be too tight with no 72 hour waiting periods. You have one re-bid zone in the area when bidding 3* in Atlanta.

If you want to make sure you get something, i would:

Select 3* Marietta

Bid $33, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $40.

If you'd rather take a chance of getting shut-out but go for a better price, i would:

Select 3* Marietta

Bid $28, if rejected add re-bid zone and...

Bid $33.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
