Counselor4444
Successfully bid today for the Hyatt Regency using this forum's PRICELINE link!Started at $98... then $103... then $108. Cheapest nightly rate for the same hotel is $185 using AAA membership. So this is a large savings and we are happy with this selection. It is centrally located and Hyatt is known for having nice properties. Now I still need Maui! Thanks all! Link to comment
Counselor4444
I just realized (of course after the fact) that not all of the rooms at the Hyatt are non-smoking. Do you think I will have a problem getting a non-smoking room? Do you think I can email Hyatt and request it? How long do you think I should wait to send an email? I take it for granted that all rooms are not non-smoking. Thx. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success!A very nice rate for this Waikiki property. The hotel already has your reservation (it's almost instant except in a very few rare instances) so you can be all means contact them and request a Non-Smoking room. Usually hotels will "make a note of it" but not guarantee anything until check-in based upon what is available, so don't get nervous/surprised if they state they can't guarantee it... it usually works out fine (and if at check-in they are not able to accommodate your non-smoking preference, you can ask if you can change rooms after the first nite if/when a non-smoking room becomes available)Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
