AaronJB Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Good evening. :)Please first provide a follow-up for your prior Virginia Beach Priceline thread (post in that thread what you decided to do for that stay), then reply to this thread and we will be happy to suggest options for this stay.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
newblood Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 All set. I left a post regarding my decision on the VA beach stay : )
thereuare Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 We'd prefer to stay on the ocean, 3* or less, two kids under 14 and two adults. With PRICELINE you need to be willing to stay anywhere within the zone you selected, which means you can't target a hotel specifically on the ocean. However, more importantly, is that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy... after that it's at the discretion of the hotel. There is a chance that you receive a room with only one bed, and the hotel may be unable, or unwilling, to give you a room with two beds (or there could be an additional charge)HOTWIRE would be a safer option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, guaranteeing sleeping accommodations for everyone included in your search. If you search HOTWIRE (please use this previous link) for 2adults/2children does anything appear within your budget, zone, and star rating? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
