Hotwire Hotel: Help ID Downtown Toronto hotels pls

First time in Toronto, would like to try Hotwire. Budget is max $100/nt, preferably cheaper because of the unknown parking charge (no choice, renting a car fr Buffalo airport). We've stayed at all hotel levels from Days Inn to Rennaisance so we're very flexible. We are a family of 2 adults/2 children (9 & 2 yrs), & here's what I found:

$94 3* Downtown West - smoke free, restaurant, laundry, business ctr, tennis, 70% recommend

$74 2.5* Downtown East - fitness, pool, restaurant, business ctr, internet, near golf, 70% recommend

$89 2* Downtown West - comp breakfast, fitness, internet, 75% recommend

I also tried changing persons to 2 adults/1 child hopinging that they would still offer 2 beds, here are the options:

$83 3.5* Downtown East - smoke free, fitness, pool, restaurant, business ctr, internet, 70% recommended

$94 3* Downtown West - smoke free, restaurant, laundry, business ctr, tennis, 70% recommended

We can split our stay & shorten to 6/12-6/14 as we'll be heading to Canada's Wonderland & don't mind not getting back to the same hotel downtown, & here's the options for 2 adults only, may get lucky & be given 2 beds otherwise don't mind if I sleep on the floor, LOL (with kids show same as above):

$99 4* Downtown West - smoke free, fitness, pool, restaurant, business ctr, internet, 75% recommended

Also, I do know availability changes constantly, but do you have any idea if there's any particular day or time when new inventory or better deals appear?

As there are so many variables to your plans i only gave this a 'first look' with my best guess below each. Once you decide you're ready to purchase and choose which you think would be your first choice, we'll look further and try to increase the confidence level our my guesses.

Marriott Eaton Centre or a new combination for the Westin Harbour Castle

Inventory and deals appear and disappear all the time, there is no pattern or certain time of day at which point all the hotels update their info, it's done constantly. If you see a hotel at a deep discount and it's a property you think you would like, you should be prepared to act upon it.

This is wonderful info, thanks so much for your help!

We're thinking of settling for the Delta Chelsea as they appear to cater to kids, but as you mentioned, they come & go & the hotel is gone now. I'm going to check again tomorrow. We decided to look into 3* & up hotels at this time.
