I started with $52 (since another poster got it at 50). Priceline askes me to increase bid by $13. I did and got the rooms at $65.

I guess the other poster gets a better deal since he booked for weekdays.

Rates are date specific so you won't always be able to replicate another user's win if demand for their dates are less than your own (regardless of whether the lesser demand is a result of midweek vs. weekend dates, conventions, etc)

However, do note that you can often undercut PRICELINE's counter-offer (ie- "if you raise your bid by $xx...") as explained in this thread: Priceline Suggests Price to Pay
