Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Vancounver (Richmond-Airport YVR) Hilton

I used this forum to get some idea..so I thought i'd share my result

Just booked YVR /Richmond Area hotel, $82+tax, 2 nights total w/ tax comes to $195US. (it didn't specify what kind of "fees" it slapped on... :), it is about $8 more than just the GST/PST) (I booked thru the HOTWIRE link from this forum as well)

Hotel is Hilton @ 5911 Minoru Blvd, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada V6X 4C7

I was actually kinda hoping for Marriott (based on some other users review)...but Hilton isn't bad either :)

Just check Hilton website for the same date, the "non-refundable" rate comes out to $340CAD, so I basically saved about 35%

OT question: This is my first time booking thru hotwire or any other similar website, is there any customer service level difference when booking from these website vs booking from the hotel itself or other travel agent?
