Joyful Traveler Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I have an "in" at the Grand Hyatt Union Square in San Francisco. She usually gets me $109/night. Nice because I get the benefits of my elite status. For Wednesday, June 2, the best she could offer was $169 (best listed price - $269). I turned to Priceline. To my surprise, I was able to get that very hotel for $85.00. Thank you, Priceline. I find that the Hyatt sometimes provides the elite status benefits even though booked on Priceline. Again, park across the street at the muni lot for less than half the price of the expensive hotel parking. Regards, David
