Priceline Hotel: Help bidding 4* Millennium Park-Loop-Grant Park

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and bidding. From reading other posts, I've learned to follow the forum PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links and ask for help!

I want to find a Chicago hotel in the Loop area for my grandmother. I would love to find something 4* for around $100+ taxes for June 11- 14. Is this possible? If so, what would be a good opening bid?

I tried 77$ bid and then tried again at $103.

Still nothing.

Any suggestions?

These are unfortunately a busy set of dates in the city and rates are more expensive (Blues Fest is going on, and I believe there's a convention on top of it.) A 4* may take as much as $125-150. What would be your desired budget per night? If your grandmother is driving, there are also some much cheaper options in the suburbs, as well.
