mp03 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Do you think it is going to be a problem getting 4 rooms for a 4* in TS for June 19-22nd? Do they accept offers for that many rooms very often? Is it too close to the date to be trying? Thanks!
mp03 Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 PLEASE!!!! HELP ME!!!I have tried several times going as high as $210 for 4* TS (using the re-bids that aren't 4*) with NO LUCK!!! I don't want to go much higher! What do I need to do??? Keep trying???
thereuare Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 PLEASE use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your bidding :)Why are you only restricting yourself to the Times Square zone??Please click this PRICELINE link before replying. mp03 Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 Well....I am really trying to stay with TS. I have an alternative hotel booked in TS as my back up. I know there are other zones, ect. I really want to focus on TS right now. My questions are....Is it going to be hard to book 4 rooms, especially since it is 3 weeks away?Is it too late to get a good price since it is 3 wks away? Thanks for getting back with me so soon!

thereuare Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 what??? don't get it??Since you have clicked our PRICELINE link... apparently you do :) Please continue to use these links on the board each time you connect to PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.Needing 4 rooms may be an issue, but it's not as much of an issue as that you're only bidding this one zone. There is really only one (maybe two) hotels in this zone which accept bids on a regular basis... if these hotel(s) have high occupancy for any of your nites above, they will not likely discount their rates too much, and you'll continue to bid higher and higher getting closer and closer to 'regular' rates. If you haven't seen it yet, i'd give this thread a read: Hotels Near Times SquarePlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. mp03 Posted May 29, 2010 Author Report Posted May 29, 2010 ok..that's what i wanted to know. so..would MTW be the zone that would be "closest" to TS? i would like to stay as near as possible to TS as possible. thanks!
AaronJB Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 MTW would be a fine/nearby alternative, although I'd recommend looking at the PRICELINE map to confirm that you would be okay with a hotel anywhere in that vicinity. MTE would also be worth considering, if that zone's location on the map is acceptable. It's also a matter of potential savings vs. distance. Would it be worth it to you, to offer an example - if you saved $30-40 a night vs Times Square and stayed within the MTE area? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
