jetsetta Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Over a few days, bid up from 105-130 looking for a 5* in Mayfair-Soho or Westminster (targetting Grosvenor House, which had seen some success at 120-135), but did not have any luck. Started on 4* hotels in either Mayfair-Soho or Westminster, beginning at $90. Was offered a chance to increase bid by $20 following bid of $95. Eventually had luck with the Park Plaza Victoria at $105. Bidding process took a while because there are basically no free rebid zones at 4* in London.
