Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (MTW) Algonquin

I notice there's no 1* star hotels mentioned on the PRICELINE hotel list. Out of curiosity, has anybody stayed at a 1* star Manhattan property? Any hotel above 14th street and below 66 street? Priceline states that these are independent properties (and not chains). Would any of you be willing to stay at one?

No hotels at the 1* level have been reported in NYC; trying for 2* and under is not recommended in NYC, as while the quality is certainly a risk, there could be other issues at play in bidding at this level in NYC.

After seeing the luck of some other bidders, I was actually trying to get the Le Parker Meridien, but I'm still happy with my result.

I started with Midtown West at $90, then moved to Times Square at $95. Central Park South for $100. Added Midtown East for $110 and it was accepted for Algonquin.
