Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Beverly Hills-West Hollywood) Hyatt Century Plaza

Hi All

I am a newbie to this forum, and have had a browse around, I am looking to get a 4.5* type hotel in Beverly Hills for the above dates.

Now if I bid say $129-$139 for a 4* hotel on Priceline, am I likely to get a hotel I could have got for $99, or will the higher price likely get me a nice hotel?

I missed out on a $149 hotel on Hotwire awhile back, it now seems to be $179 for that date. So I thought I'd look into Priceline...

Any advice or help is greatly received...

You will likely overpay for your room if using PRICELINE that way.

Thanks for the advice Yellowdog.

So we tried a $90 bid for 4* Beverley Hills - West Hollywood and failed.

So we added Brentwood - Westwood to the search, and upped the bid to $95.

We go that bid accepted and we got a room at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. This seems ok, reviews are generally good, and it certainly seems to be a substantial discount over the rates available on the other sites!
