Priceline Hotel: Resort Maui (Kaanapali-Lahaina) Sheraton

On Priceline, there is no option for 4* deluxe hotels in the Lahaina region of Maui, although the option is available for Wailea.

I thought the Hyatt, Sheraton and Westin hotels were considered 4* at least.

Does this mean that those hotels are not offering rooms through PRICELINE in Lahaina right now?

Hyatt, Sheraton and Westin are all reported to the board in the Maui (Ka'anapali - Lahaina) zone. But they are rated as resorts so you have to use the Resort rating when you bid.

I started bidding at $160 in Kaanapali. PRICELINE offered the chance to bid $35 more without changing any options. I declined and added Kahului with a $175 bid. The offer was not accepted, so I added Kihei as a rebid zone and offered $185. No dice.

I didn't have any more free rebid zones, so I had my husband try. We offered $190 for Kaanapali, and the offer was accepted. With taxes, the total cost is $443.46 for two nights, June 26-28. We booked these two nights using PRICELINE to offset the cost of staying at the Hyatt Maui for another three nights.
