Priceline Hotel: need help for bidding

We two girls planned to travel in DC from 06/08/10 to 06/11/10,

3* white house or capitol hill area will be good, and Alington or Crystal city will be OK,

Is it possible to get a room around 70?

And when is the best bidding date, a week before?

I found all guys get great deals, is there any trip?

My guess is that you're $70 budget is going to come up a bit shy, but if you want to give it a shot, let us know if you first want to bid the white house and capitol hill zones up to your budget, then if rejected add crystal city and arlington... OR if you goal for this stay is the least expensive 3* or better in any of the above zones.
