Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (CPS) Le Parker Meridien

I was targeting a 3.5* or above in CPS, MTW, MTE for a couple of weeks and failed bid up to 200/nt.

I wasn't supprised on the price being so high (or the rejection rate being too high), since it is on a memorial holiday weekend.

But yesterday, seeing HOTWIRE price dropping (but not the hotels I was monitoring), I started bidding again with CPS at 120 and got accepted. I couldn't believe the results so I even confirmed with the hotel by calling them.

As soon as I confirmed the room, now I wish I should've started at $100 (or maybe even lower).

But at the end, I am happy with the price and the hotel (currently going for $300+ a day).
