I'm from the general area and there are no 3* hotels in the Blacksburg, SC area. The closest towns possible would be Gaffney, SC or Shelby, NC.

Sorry I'm new at this so I pretty much omitted all things important!

The hotel is the Holiday Inn University in Blacksburg VA. The rooms were re-done and the beds were VERY comfortable but they are doubles NOT queen-size. Lobby has been redone but it didn't matter to us, we're not the type to hang out in the hotel lobby anyway.
