A new metric for Priceline star levels?

First the rant: I'm tired of getting Courtyards. They have bad bedding. In many markets, though, the 3* level includes other properties that thrill me (e.g. Hyatt Place and Embassy Suites, with much better bedding and free breakfast). And I'd often prefer a Residence Inn to a Courtyard (free breakfast, kitchen, better value all around), but they typically show up as 2.5* or 3*.

I think the problem is that Priceline's star levels are linked primarily to the sort of food service offered at the hotel rather than things that matter more to me, like quality of the bedding and no-cost extras (e.g. net, breakfast, fitness center).

So... imagining that it would be possible to petition priceline to adopt a new hotel rating system, what should it be?

Have you had d a recent stay at a Courtyard as you haven't posted a priceline win to the board in nearly a year.

It would be appreciated if you shared your win(s) with the board and used the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
