Unfortunately, it seems as though that Hotel is no longer offered. If you had an idea as to what it may be, by all means still post it, maybe a deal with the same "specs" will pop up again!

Well, I'm trying to keep things under $100 (stretched to $110 in the worst case) per night.

My only needs are firm dates and being within reasonable walking distance to the University.

After reading through that topic I'll have to say that is not something I would be willing to do.

Switching Hotels during the day would likely not be possible during my stay, so because of the potential for that occurring I'd have to decline that route.

Oh, but in terms of Hotel *, I don't need a 3 1/2* Hotel, I'd be willing to go lower :)

Are you able to stay anywhere within the shaded boundary of PRICELINE's Toronto North zone? (ie- would this get you close enough to the University)

Another option, just a little but more than your budget, is the Delta Chelsea which appears to be just a few blocks from the University, is available for $118/nite and fully refundable up until the day before arrival (of course you should always double check the cancellation policy yourself)

Thank you very much for the heads up on the Delta Chelsea. I will certainly use the board's Expedia link if I decide to book it as a backup.

As for the Toronto Downtown North area, yes, everything looks like it should be within 2 - 2.5km from the University, so distance should not be an issue.

Well, I don't have any experience with them yet, but I figured I'd try lowballing a 3* hotel and see where it gets me. Although I'm not entirely sure what a low-ish bid would be :)

After thinking about it a bit I figure $90 would be my maximum bid for a 3* hotel.

A $20 premium (that is, up to $110) seems "fair" to be guaranteed a specific Hotel at a specific location (that is, the Delta Chelsea).
