Priceline Hotel: NYC 5/24-5/26

My buddy and I been on PL for the last couple days try to get a room for two night in NYC. So far no luck. I need some help quick lol

Here is what i'm looking for

2.5 * or better

Selected all area except Brooklyn and Long island city

So far we bid up to $120 per night (not including fee and tax)

no luck so far.

Do you think i can get a room for less than 150 for those dates?

Prices on HOTWIRE are extremely high for these dates (the cheapest discount listing is a 2* that gets a very negative customer review % for $196 in the downtown-soho-financial area.) $150 for a 2.5* or higher is possible, but given the regular rates (and HOTWIRE rates) that I'm seeing, I'd say that a winning bid - especially in Midtown - will most likely take more than $150, and possibly as much as $200 if hotels are keeping discounts limited for these busy dates.

Hmmmmm, wondering why the price is so high for those day.... it is Monday to Wednesday during the week.

There is no go for price up to $140 so i end up stayin in AC which i can get a very nice casino room for $40
