Toadarey Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Hello everyone. This is my first post! Anyway, The Renaissance had always been considered a 4* hotel until recently. So I was hesitant to select 3.5* in the Convention Center area, because the Hilton is considered 3.5*. In any case I actually won 3 different bids last year for 3 different weekends. All 3 bids were for 4* Convention Center area, with 2 winning bids of just $52 and 1 winning bid of $55.This year for Memorial Day weekend, my first bid of $52 wasn't accepted, but second bid of $55 was accepted. I'm just hoping the 3.5* drop by Priceline doesn't mean the hotel has turned down the wrong path! :)
