We stayed at the Downtown Marriot on May 15 for $49 a night before fees and taxes. Which is great for a hotel that is usually $189 a night. We bid on PRICELINE. The hotel was very nice and I would definately stay there again. We parked at the mall parking lot, about a block or two away for $20 overnight. Parking through the Marriott is $32 and $28. You can access the parking garage and hotel are connected by a skywalk and convention center. So you do not have to be outside. I was very pleased with the whole experience. The only thing I did not like was after my bid was accepted through Priceline, I called the Marriott and asked to have two beds. The lady said she would do that. But once she saw I had booked through Priceline she told me she could not guarantee it. I have never had that problem at any other hotel I have booked through PRICELINE. But once I was there, the staff was very friendly and I had two beds. So I cannot complain about the staff while I was there. It was a great experience and I will definitely try to get it again!
