Since I've still got time, I'll probably try around the same prices and I'll consider going down to 3.5*.

Hang in there! I had the exact same problem bidding over $90.00 then one day

I bid 70 with a counter offer to add 22.00 I didn't accept, then they took my offer

of 78 as you can see in my priceline win below...

So I had been bidding 4* up to $95 and not getting anything, so it was getting closer to the date and I didn't want to be without a hotel room.

Bid $80 4* Downtown

Bid $65 3.5* Downtown

Bid $55 3* Downtown ... Accepted

Decent since I see this same hotel on hotwire for $69. I wanted something a little closer to the Inner Harbor, but can't really complain for this price and it's only one night.
