Priceline Hotel: 4* Scottsdale (North Scottsdale) Scottsdale Plaza Resort

Won the Scottsdale Plaza resort on Priceline for $75 a night.

- Priceline now pays the $17 a day resort fee (they finally listened) but we still paid $12.95 a day for AT&T internet access because we needed the computer in the room. Wireless access is available in public areas like the lobby.

- The grounds are beautiful and the pools are great. There's one main, huge pool and the other 4 are nicely secluded.

- Didn't eat at the restaurants. Ate breakfast at Starbuck's across the street every day and other meals nearby at great restaurants.

- The rooms are fine but obviously part of an updated older resort with smaller bathrooms, no refrigerators, etc.

- They charge a fortune for the snacks on the table and in the mini-fridge so we bought a cooler and brought our own.

- I heard that newly remodeled king rooms like ours have smaller TV's and non-updated double rooms have bigger flatscreens.

- Amenities listed are non-smoking rooms, weight room, swimming pools, restaurants, business center, laundry, HS internet, tennis courts and web price was $259

- Enjoyed our stay and didn't pay much attention to complaints on travel websites.
