Lately, I have been beating the odds and getting really good HOTWIRE hotels at the lower price points, even in this zone of Columbus. Not this time. Thinking I might again land a Baymont or Holiday Inn Express, instead I got a former Travelodge that has been getting abysmal reviews on tripadvisor for reasons ranging from bedbugs to possible prostitution in the complex. HOTWIRE is a risk that this site helps to manage - I hope that the information I am contributing helps people manage that risk.

Sorry to hear about the result - there have been cases in the past where HOTWIRE has given refunds when reviews are very bad, and I'd say the reviews on tripadvisor are definitely pretty extreme - I'd definitely suggest contacting them and presenting your case in this instance.
