ouaouaron Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 I am looking for a hotel in NYC 3.5* or up from June 9 - June 13.I am new to the whole bidding system and I have been reading on the forum about prices. The cheapest on PRICELINE is a PriceBreaker deal at $149 in Midtown west at $149.Is there any strategy to get a better price? What strategy should I use? Thanks!
thereuare Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!I don't believe the pricebreaker deal is necessarily available for all dates within the range they stipulate, so no guarantees you'll be successful at the $149 rate if you bid that amount. Are you looking for a 3.5* hotel for this stay? Let us know which zone(s) you're willing to accept as well as your maximum bid... we'll then suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
