Priceline Hotel: Rio de janeiro

Rio has been discussed in this forum. "Sheraton Hotel & Resort" seems to be the only hotel in the list, so isn't a question of how much you bid before you get it, I mean nobody else would take your bid - or?

And do PRICELINE negotiate with "all" hotels in the area or how do other hotesl "join in" NYOP?

The Sheraton is the only reported hotel but there might be other players on the field. Rio is a big city and not so frequenly reported on the board so we don't have any history. And there is also 3.5* and 4* bidding so you can get an upgrade.

So i would bid with an open mind.

I'm sorry i didn't follow up on this thread - but I did not book Rio through Priceline. I found a nice b&B in Rio. I thought that The Sheraton was too far away to be won.
