Priceline Hotel: 4*-3.5* Boston help

Hello,

I want to bid a hotel on PRICELINE during 05/25-05/28, which area would be good for people without a car? I heard the parking is going to be a problem if you rent a car...

I would like to stay in 3.5*-4* hotel, could anybody give me some advices?

I had a huge amount of trouble trying to get anything downtown Boston - I ended up expanding to the airport zone for 5/25 - 5/27 and dropping to 3*. I bid up to $150 (excluding airport) and no go. See my priceline winning bid thread.

My ideal price would be about $70-$80? is that possible to get the bid at this price range?

If you're looking for a hotel in "downtown proper", at the moment i'm guessing your $80 budget is not in the ballpark.

I would like to stay in the convenience transportation area, since I am not going to rent a car. People said the parking is very hard in tourism places.

If I could find parking easily, I don't mind stay in a further area...
