Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Boston (Copley Square-Theatre District) Marriott Copley Place

My husband and I are trying to priceline a hotel in Faneuil Hall area but are open to the Harbor Front or Copley. We've tried 4* and 3.5* bidding up to $115 but have had no luck. Any thoughts/suggestions? Also, we are trying to get a rental car from 6/18-6/23 out of Logan and aren't having any luck.

Are you open for all 3 zones or is there any special zone you prefer/want to bid first on? For your failed bids, which zone(s) and star rating(s) did you include?

Our max budget would be about $130-$140. While we are open to all three areas we would prefer the Faneuil area. We first started out at $99 for a 4* in Faneuil. That was rejected and we added the Harbor Front at $105. We repeated the same steps last night but increased our bid to $110 and $115.

Did you first want to bid up to your limit for a 4* hotel in the Faneuil Hall zone, then a 4* up to your limit in the Harbor Front, then a 4* up to your limit for Copley... or is there a combination of the two zones that you prefer up to your limit before the third? Did you want to try up to your limit for a 4* hotel in all three zones before trying for a 3.5* in your preferred zone?

Also, from your post it doesn't appear that you're using your re-bid zones, are you familiar with this concept/technique and are you utilizing your re-bid zones? We ended up with a 3.5* for $130 via Priceline. It's the Boston Marriot Copley Place. Pretty happy with my first-time experience of PRICELINE.
