Priceline Hotel: 4* Kansas City (Downtown-Crown Center) Westin Crown Center

Got the Westin in the downtown/Crown Center area for $63 for a Friday night.

Originally tried to get the 3.5* Crowne Plaza since I'll be there for business during that week and didn't want to change hotels. Tried $55 with no takers. Started a new bid and added Liberty and tried $63, but forgot/didn't realize, they even though I just selected 3.5*, they automatically pull in the 4*s too.

So no big deal. The Westin gets way better reviews than the Crowne Plaza, and $63 ($81 after taxes) is pretty good, looks like the internet rate is $129 a night, so can't beat half off.

Plus, I've come to expect expecting one hotel and always getting a different one. That's PRICELINE for ya.
