cookie monster Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Hey allWe are going to Moncton for a wedding from 8/13 - 8/17. I see a 3 star upscale (best deal) on PRICELINE for price bidding thinking that it is the Holiday Inn Express or Crowne Plaza. Or am I wrong? Also what do you suggest I should start the bidding process at? Since I haven't seen anybody win any bids for these cities. Thinking I might start the bidding at $50 and go up from there for those 3 stars? Saw on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins and saw somebody get a 4* Halifax Westin Nova Scotian for $55.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thereuare Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 The Residence Inn has previously been reported as a 3* hotel in this zone, but the Crowne Plaza and Delta Beausejour would be among other possibilities in this zone as well (the Holiday Inn Express in this zone is currently rated 2.5*)As you're not bidding for a 4* hotel in Halifax, a previous win in that zone isn't relevant to this stay in Moncton... let us know your maximum bid for this stay and we'll suggest a strategy to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
