cookie monster Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Hey all,had a question before I bid on a couple of hotels. We are going to Charlottetown Wed Aug 11-Thurs Aug 12. See that the lot 31 is probably Howard Johnson (bad reviews), but not sure what the other option is there for the 2 stars. Then to Moncton for a wedding for Fri., Aug 13 - Tue., Aug 17. I see a 3 star upscale on priceline for price bidding thinking that it is the Holiday Inn Express or Crowne Plaza. Or am I wrong? Also what do you suggest I should start the bidding process at? Since I haven't seen anybody win any bids for these cities.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cookie monster Posted May 10, 2010 Author Report Posted May 10, 2010 I am using the PRICELINE link and was looking at the highest star rating (2). It gives me only 2 areas...lot 31 which I presume to be the Howard Johnson (bad reviews), but not sure what the other option is there for the 2 stars.I am willing to go up to like $75....otherwise we will have to settle on a bed and breakfast in the area for the 2 days while we are there. It looks like HOTWIRE has a hotel for $119 for a 2 1/2 star rating too. Probably the same one?Doesn't look like there is much choice in the area :)
thereuare Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 To confirm... you're looking to bid for a 2* in Charlottetown with a maximum bid of $75/nite?Is this correct? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
