Priceline Hotel: 3* Birmgingham (Hoover) Courtyard

I need 1 night and would like at least 3 star in Birmingham AL on Saturday, May 22, 2010 around the Hoover area. TIA for any suggestions. My Mother's Day gift tickets to the Comedy Club!

I jumped the gun and got too anxious and bid $33 (first price after not likely to be accepted) and got turned down. I don't know if I should wait, since I have some time or choose an area without that star rating and go up. Thanks for any advice and hope I am posting in right spot

$33 seems low for a 3* hotel in this area... in fact, if successful, this would be the lowest accepted bid we would have seen for a 3* rated hotel in this zone.

What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for this stay? What is your maximum bid?

You are right, I shouldn't have started so low and got turned down at $39 also. I was hoping to stay around the $50 mark

At the 3* level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 3* Hoover...

Bid $42, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $48

Thanks so much for the help! I bid before I read last post and got Marriott Courtyard for $44, so I guess I was in the right range. After tax and fees $58. I did use the PRICELINE link.
