seastar Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 Bidding newbie here. Not sure where I want to stay but thinking Midtown east or west, soho/tribeca. Would want a four star or better. I have heard that the 6 Columbus isn't very good (so what zone do I need to exlude, any other zones with unfavorable properties?). What zones should I include? And what price is reasonable? And what should my strategy be?Thanks for the help!!
AaronJB Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)6 Columbus gets solid reviews, but isn't seen very often at all as a win. In terms of not including a particular zone because there is a hotel that may be undesirable, that is an instance where quite a few hotels in NYC may appeal to some, but not others (and vice versa.) No 5* hotels are available via PRICELINE in NYC, but 4.5* properties have occasionally been spotted on HOTWIRE.Please provide your desired max budget per night.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
