Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Montreal Delta Centreville

No luck on Priceline obtaining a 3.5-stars and above hotel for the aforementioned dates. Hotwire was showing a rate of $89 for a 3.5 star hotel in Montreal for the last several days then it dropped down to $85. I decided to bite the bullet and took the $85/night rate as I was expecting it to be a Delta hotel.

2 nights + taxes/fees = $206 USD all in. (Booked through BetterBidding's HOTWIRE link)

Note that for that time period in Montreal, Congress 2010 is going on and many of Montreal's hotels are included in the Congress's website (http://www.congress2010.ca) so I was expecting the inventory to be lower or more expensive.

Anyway, I was happy to get a Delta hotel (Delta Centre-ville) as I am a Delta Privilege member (free) which enables me to have room preferences, free internet, late check-out (6 PM) and other member offerings. I will be calling the hotel within the next few days to get my preferences and member options on top of my booking.

Definitely a nice deal for this property during a busy time period. While HOTWIRE reservations are generally not eligible for rewards programs, hopefully the hotel will add your program information to your reservation.

I have another reservation at a Delta hotel in June booked through PRICELINE and I was able to get all my membership benefits added to my reservation after calling the hotel directly - all that is needed is a Delta Privelege number and your hotel confirmation number.
