Priceline Hotel: 3* San Juan Radisson Ambassador

I am looking for a room in San Juan for one night 7/31-8/1. I would prefer a 3 or 4* and would like to spend no more than $75. Can someone offer bidding help? Is this too early to bid? Should I wait a few months?

Rates are not that high for your dates and i would think that any 3.5* or 4* win within your budget would be 'pretty good' with more risk to prices going higher than lower, so if your plans are firm i would begin to bid sooner rather than later.

Once you're ready to bid, let us if you want to try for a higher rated hotel up to your budget first OR if your goal is the least expensive 3* or better for this stay.

As this is only going to be an 12 hour or so stay between when we land and when we head to Fajardo to catch the ferry to Vieques, I would prefer a 3* at the lowest price. We are going to be staying for 3 nights in san juan at the tail end of our trip and will want a nicer place then, but I will start a new thread for that once we get this one figured out :)

At the 3* level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

With plenty of time on your side i would bid as follows:

Select 3* San Juan...

Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $45, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $48

If the above is rejected don't get discouraged as the above are lowball bids just to test the waters first to see if there is any 'low hanging fruit'... if rejected we'll revise to try again in 24 hours.

If that is rejected wait 24 hours and re-try:

If that is rejected wait 24 hours and re-try:

You can stop at $75 if you'd like, but as rates are not too high at the moment, the extra $5-$8 over your last failed bids may be the difference between success/failure.
