deezp1 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I been doing my homework on this site trying to get a 4* in the Loop between 6/16 (Wednesday) - 6/20 (Sunday). I been bidding anywhere from $65 all the way to $110 a night with zero success. I have a back up room already booked that is averaging about $150 a night in a 3.5* room (Hotel Blake). I'm wondering if I'm getting turned down because the number of nights that I'm booking (4 nights)? I noticed that others on this forum have received successful bids for the following weekend for about $49 a night for a 4* in the same area, but are only staying 2 nights. I still have about 5 weeks until my trip, so Im not too worried, but wondering why my bids are getting rejected? any suggestions? Thanks in advanced

thereuare Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 There is a 40K person convention which ends on the 16th and that may be effecting rates for your dates. Is the Loop the only zone you're willing to accept or is the NMA-River North zone acceptable as well? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
