During busy times, you CAN be denied entrance. WDW has a 4-stage shutdown process. If you ae staying at an off-site hotel and they hit stage 2, you will be denied entrace to the parks. People staing at onsite hotels are guaranteed entrance to A park - not necessarily the one you wanted to go to, but you cna get in at least one.

This usually only happens around Christmas Week, July 4th and sometimes around Easter.

BTW, that's a great price for that hotel!
