tahl Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Hello, I need help identifying a MTC 3.5* hotel for 149.00 on 7/31-8/3. Amenities:Fitness Center, Restaurant(s) , High-speed Internet Access Customer Satisfaction 4.0Need 3 rooms.I'm thinking either Club Quarters or Manhattan Centre? Thanks for the help!
AaronJB Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This could possibly be the Club Quarters or Manhattan Centre. Unfortunately, no trip advisor rating is showing, as that may have been able to narrow down the possibilities. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
tahl Posted May 5, 2010 Author Report Posted May 5, 2010 Thanks. I clicked on details and it said Recommended in 55% of customer reviewers in 500+ reviews. Could this be the tripadvisor rating?
AaronJB Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 No, that is the HOTWIRE customer rating. Interesting, I'm seeing 70% recommended - are you searching for 3 rooms/6 adults?
thereuare Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 I agree that the Club Quarters or the Manhattan Centre seem the most likely... are either of these of interest? There are other offers around this price point, what are your needs for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. tahl Posted May 6, 2010 Author Report Posted May 6, 2010 I think either of the two hotels mentioned would be of interest. I'm just a bit concerned with the 55% recommended rate that I saw. That is very low. I would like to pay 150 or less for a hotel in the Midtown area that is clean, close to TS, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. There are a couple of people going that don't get around that good, so a hotel next to a subway station would be great. I would be open to other hotels that meet this criteria that are in the same price point as well.
thereuare Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 What about bidding on a 4* hotel via PRICELINE? (might be able to get something at about $160 or under... worth trying an extra $10 over the rate above for an extra half of star rating?)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
