Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please include the date(s) of your stay in your post.

Is the Boutique icon also included in the amenity list? (it's in your title, but not in the list of amenities you provided). Please clarify and we'll look into this further.

Thanks.

My apologies - newbie mistake, lol!

We are visiting 4/13-4/17 - my wife is attending a conference at McCormick Place and we want to visit where she grew up (Elk Grove Village).

And yes its states Boutique on the amenities list and has the orange "B"

Thanx all!

In our HOTWIRE CHICAGO hotel list you'll see the Tremont indeed has the same star rating and amenities you describe above (a hotel review of the property by one of our users as well).

Let us know whatever you decide to do to for this stay and/or if we can be of more help. If you do more forward with the above selection please use THIS LINK to begin your purchase. Thanks.

Originally tried to get a 4* in the NMA area at $65 but nothing.

Tried 3* at $70 and still nothing.

Then I switched to 2.5* RNA for $60 and PL countered by asking me to rebid $17 higher. Wife is attending a convention at McCormick Place and prices are pretty high in town to begin with, so we took it. Turns out to be the Holiday Inn Mart - was hoping for the Courtyard, but still happy - they bumped us to this 3*. HI site is listing this place for $169........

Anyone know who easy/difficult it is to take subway/El from MDW here?

Thanx for all the help!!

The first post was for a Hotwire bid. Wan't really interested in the Tremont so I went the Priceline route. Considering that I couldn't find a decent place in a halfway decent locale for under $85, I agreed to the $77 counteroffer and got the Holiday Inn Mart.

Dunno if I did the PL thing right, but wife and I are happy with what we are getting for what we paid. Apparantly the convention she is attending at McCormick Place is one of the bigger ones in Chicago.....

Thanx for the mass transit info!
