alitaido Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 I'm trying to confirm my suspicion that this is the Intercontinental:Smoke-free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, High Speed Internet, Spa90% user rating$152 for 5/30 - 5/31Thanks!
AaronJB Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This could possibly be the Langham or Intercontinental, as both have been reported with this amenity set. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
tjlamphere Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 I received an e-mail today from HOTWIRE, saying there was a "Price Drop" on a 4 1/2* hotel for the time I was looking for in Boston (6/18 & 6/19). It is $ 139 and the location is Quincy Market - Financial District. Same exact amenities that you listed. Based on what I am reading, it could be the Intercontinental or the Langham? Is the $ 152 you were quoted including all fees/recovery/taxes or whatever additional charges there are? At that price for a 4 1/2* hotel, I think it is a good deal. Will have to tack parking onto that, but no way around that. Never have used HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, but it looks like too good a deal to pass up.
tm0304 Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 From my Hotwire hotel thread I was quoted and got the Intercontinental for $139/nt. 6/3-6/7. It DOES NOT include all of the taxes, fees, etc.
thereuare Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 alitaido,The HOTWIRE property above matches both the Inter-Continental and the Langham, so either of these would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing for this stay, even if you choose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc.tjlamphere,If you'd like help with your own stay please start a NEW TOPIC. alitaido Posted May 6, 2010 Author Report Posted May 6, 2010 Haven't decided what to do yet because while I would enjoy staying at the Intercontinental, I have no desire to stay at the Langham what-so-ever. I'll keep you all posted!
alitaido Posted February 28, 2011 Author Report Posted February 28, 2011 I'm trying to confirm my suspicion that this is the Intercontinental:Smoke-free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, High Speed Internet, Spa90% user rating$152 for 5/30 - 5/31Thanks!In the end, we decided not to go with the Hotwire offer this time because we had no desire to end up at the Langham; that place just seemed the opposite of our style. Instead, we directly booked a room at the XV Beacon and had a wonderful stay. Thanks!Alitaido
